Kinder Registration

2021-2022

 

It's time for Kenmore Elementary School's annual Kindergarten Registration for fall enrollment. If you have neighbors or friends who have children that will attend kindergarten in the fall, please share this information. We will begin accepting registration packets from March 8th – June 4th from 7:30 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. in the school office.

ONLY A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN MAY REGISTER A CHILD FOR SCHOOL (Please provide a driver's license or identification. Guardians or Foster parents must provide legal documents to verify that they are the guardian.)

A child must be five years of age on or before September 2, 2021. Parents must provide the following when turning in the registration packet:

 

• Verification of birth date (birth certificate, baptism certificate, passport, or notarized affidavit)
• Physical Exam
• Dental Exam
• Immunization records
• Proof of address (rent receipt, property tax receipts, or utility bills such as gas or electricity, cell phone bills are not accepted)

 

The registration packet cannot be accepted until original proof (we will make copies of your originals) of

everything has been provided and verified by the office staff.

All children entering California Public Schools are required to have a complete physical done after

2/1/21 and a dental exam done after 8/1/20. Children are also required to be fully immunized against the

following: Polio-4 doses, 3 if last one is after 4th birthday; DTP-5 doses, 4 if last one is after 4th birthday;

MMR-2 doses, both after 1St birthday; Hepatitis B-3 doses; and Varicella-2 doses or a stamp by the

doctor, if had the disease (chickenpox). It is very important that all vaccinations have the doctor stamp,

All of our kinder students will be coming to school full day. This means that they will be here at the same

schedule that the 1St-3rd graders are here (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday from 8:00-

2:20/Wednesdays from 8:00-12:45). At this time, we do not have the classroom that your child will be in

next year so we will be mailing out information in July which will include the time schedule and classroom

details for our new kinder students. Parents will possibly be asked to stay for about an hour on the first

day of school for the orientation in your child's classroom. At the orientation, teachers will explain the

daily routine, homework and answer any questions that you may have.

Es tiempo de matricular a los niños que van a empezar kínder en el otoño. Por favor comparta esta información con vecinos o amigos que tengan niños de edad de kínder. La matriculación se llevará a cabo del 8 de marzo al 4 de junio desde las 7:30am – 4:00 pm en la oficina de la escuela.

SOLAMENTE LOS PADRES O TUTORES LEGALES PUEDEN MATRICULAR AL ESTUDIANTE EN LA

ESCUELA. (Necesitamos verificación, como una licencia de conducir o identificación. Los tutores necesitan tener documentos legales)

 

El niño/a debe de cumplir 5 años antes del 2 de septiembre de 2021. Padres deben de traer to siguiente para poder matricular:

 

• Verificacion de fecha de nacimiento (acta de nacimiento, certificado de bautizo, pasaporte o una carta notariada)
• Tarjeta de vacunas
• Examen físico
• Examen dental
• Verificacion domicilio (recibo de la renta, recibo de los impuestos de propiedad, o factura de los servicios de luz o gas. No se aceptaron facturas de teléfono)

 

El paquete de matriculación no será aceptado hasta que todos los documentos oriqinales sean verificados

por el personal escolar. Se requiere que todos los estudiantes que entran a las escuelas públicas de

California tengan un examen físico con fecha después del 1 0 de febrero 2021 y un examen dental con

fecha después del 1 0 de agosto del 2020. Asegúrese que los niños estén vacunados contra las siguiente

vacunas; Polio - 4 dosis, 3 si la úttima fue después de los 4 años; DTP (difteria, tétano y tos ferina) - 5

dosis, 4 si la última fue después de los 4 años: MMR (sarampión, paperas y rubeola) - 2 dosis después del

primer año; hepatitis B - 3 dosis: y la varicela - 2 dosis o un sello del doctor si ya tuvo varicela. Es muy

importante que todas las vacunas tengan el sello del doctor. Los estudiantes de kinder vendrán a la escuela

todo el día. Et horario será igual que los estudiantes de 10 a 30 grado (lunes, martes, jueves y viernes de

8:00 - 2:20 / miércoles de 8:00-12:45). En este momento no tenemos los nombres de los maestros todavía,

pero en el mes de julio estaremos enviando más información por correo. Posiblemente se les pedirá a los

padres quedarse aproximadamente una hora el primer día de clase para la orientación. Los maestros

estarán explicando la rutina, la tarea y les responderán las preguntas que tengan.
